*Ash Wednesday* The Lenten Journey Begins February 5, 2008 PART 1

Purple cloth on the altar, the cross on the right and the ashes on the left signify the beginning of Lent.

"Be with me Lord when I am in trouble ..." The music also sets the tone for the new season.



Following the homily, the ashes were blessed.
