Habitat for Humanity - Project 2

At Sunday Masses on Sept. 15 & 16, the second collection was
for the Habitat project. The HOPE Sunday collection totalled $5,577.

At Sunday Masses on Sept. 22 & 23, 2-inch by 4-inch pieces of
lumber could be purchased for the Habitat House
in the church parking lot.

The distinctive Habitat blue shirts were in evidence in the lumber area.

Parishioners were encouraged to write a message on each piece they purchased.

The Habitat comittee reports in the September 30 Church Bulletin:
"We sold approximately 250 of the 350 pieces that were available."
They also announced that "2x4’s will be available for purchase
at the 5:00 PM Mass this Saturday, and the 8:00 AM Mass on Sunday."
