Painting the Church

While the inside walls of the church are being painted,
weekday mass is celebrated in the Parish Center.

Fr. Jeff Minkler presided, and John Grover served.

In the background, the room was partly set up
for a social function later in the day.

After mass, I went to the church to photograph the painters.
Seeing none, I photographed their equpment.

While doing this, I heard noises from a ladder, but could not see it.

I finally found the ladder, hidden beind the organ pipes.

Then the painter appeared.
It looked like he was standing on the pipes.

One mystery remains:
How did the the ladder fit through this narrow opening to the rear of the pipes?
